The Center For Democracy and Technology
The Center is a non-profit public interest organization based in Washington, DC. The Center works for public policies that advance civil liberties and democratic values in new computer and communications technologies. Free Speech, Online Privacy, and Cryptography are some of the issues discussed on this site.

The Technology Alliance for Southern California (LARTA)
Larta's mission is to strengthen and sustain the region's technology base through direct assistance, networking, and information. The organization is one of three nonprofit private/public partnerships created through legislation by the state of California in 1994 after defense downsizing eliminated nearly 200,000 jobs in Los Angeles County alone. Software Council of Southern California (SCSC)
The Software Council of Southern California is a non-profit, membership-only trade association, comprised of software development organizations, as well as those companies that provide support and services to the local software industry.
